NON-PROFIT BASKETBALL GAME IN SUPPORT OF “LITERACY & DIVERSITY”
FRIDAY, Veteran Tribute

Veterans and Family Members Offered free Admission Nov 17th at Gordon
Bell High School

Winnipeg – Nov 14, 2017

An important part of the Manitoba Drive vs Canadian Armed Forces
Non-Profit Basketball game in support of “Literacy and Diversity” this
Friday Nov 17th at Gordon Bell High School will be the chance for
Veterans and their family members being given free admittance to the
event.

As a part of the Giving Something to Those Who Gave initiative,
Veteran Tickets of Valour  provides FREE event tickets to family
members of troops Killed In Action (K.I.A.), current members of our
Military and Veterans to Mid West Basketball League games for family
activities.  Attending these events hopes to reduce stress through
entertainment, strengthen family bonds, build life long memories and
encourages service members to stay engaged with Canadian life and
local communities.

Giving free event tickets is an expression of appreciation,
acknowledgement and an enduring symbol that we, as a nation, honour
the service of our troops today and long after their tour of duty has
passed. Helping our veterans attend events provides positive family
and life experiences after their years of service to our country.

This Friday’s event features Former Toronto Raptor MILT PALACIO along
with Carleton University standout and 1st Canadian All-Star JAFETH
MASERUKA who will join members of the Manitoba Drive Basketball Club
and lace up their sneakers for a family friendly night of competition
against members of the Canadian Armed Forces on November 17th . Doors
open at 6, tip off at 7:15.
