Manitoba Drive Inc. is a registered non profit company that aids to continue the growth of amateur sport in the province.

At this time we are happy to announce birth of Mid West Basketball League (MWBL).

This newly formed 18+ league is sanctioned by Basketball Manitoba.

It will be a 16 game a plus playoff(s) format.
Estimated one(1) game per week typically held on Saturday’s.
Currently the league is in its preseason.

MWBL is identifying players & coaches for its program(s).

For many teens once they graduate from high school in Manitoba, if they were not picked up by a College or University unfortunately their careers have ended.

MWBL will allow the opportunity for these athletes to continue their development.

The objective is to be a competitive league.

There is no age cap.

Some players that are older in age & have experience maybe considered to play and become mentors in the first two seasons.

During the 2015/2016 season the league will be playing an inter provincial game versus Beantown Elites from the Super Six Basketball League out of Saskatchewan.

The game is to be held in December 2015.

Players that register for MWBL will be looked at to compete for league play and Provincial team.

Men 17 in grade 12 & or 18+ are welcomed & encouraged to register.

The league currently has a total of 6 teams looking to fill rosters of 10 – 12 players per.

This opportunity will be extended to approximately 60-80 participants in the province of Manitoba & beyond.

Registration Fee & Deadline

Registration fee is $75 per registrant.
All cheques can be made payable to Manitoba Drive Inc.
Once a player has made a team there is no more fees to be paid.
